Document structure
This document is organized into six chapters. This chapter, the introduction, outlines my personal motivation for this investigation and the thesis' scope.
In chapter two, I will give details on facts and findings about closing the eyes, reaching from anatomy to culture. These form the basis of my investigation. Afterwards, in the third chapter, I recapitulate existing projects and applications that I deem related to this thesis.
Chapter four is at the heart of this document. After clarifying my hypothesis (and its sub-hypotheses), I will conduct a line of argument to validate the latter, by the design of several eye closure applications.
In chapter five, I will analyze and discuss the findings of chapter four, with regard to my hypotheses and as the ending of my line of argument, coming to the conclusion in chapter six.
