Defining the thesis scope
Closing the eyes feels good. In terms of operant conditioning, this would mean that closing the eyes brings its own positive reinforcement. However, we somehow learned to keep our eyes open when we are active.
If this thesis could help us to rediscover closing the eyes, this would be very good; we would regain awareness for something that has been lost in our visual world - or, in other words:
A new perspective, through closed eyes.
